OOTD | Men's Shirts and Shawls

Shawl: Vintage
Shirt: Vintage
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Dorothy Perkins
Bag: Zara

Hi Hi!
Today's outfit post features two vintage pieces. One is a men's shirt which I love to style. Either keeping it manly by just leaving it plain or cropping it for that feminine look. Here I wore it with a camel shade shawl because although it is Spring oh my, the cold breeze is still there! This is the second vintage piece.

These minimal peep-toe heels I have on have been in my wardrobe for ages but I never really got the chance to wear them. Until now that is. As they snake skin printed, I found they would look better with a one toned outfit instead of being a confusing outfit. I think it looks nice especially if you have some Spring inspired polish on your toes ;)

Do you like my Zara Bucket bag from a few seasons ago? I killed my tanned bag exactly like this one but this black one has been kept boxed away so looks practically new. This is all down to my mum as she keeps things hidden for years! So Cheers! I have to revive some things occasionally!!

I hope you are having a great weekend!!

OOTD | Nike SB and River Island Dress

Jacket: Missguided
Dress: River Island
Shoes:Nike SB
Bag: Zara
Sunglasses: Primark

Today's look is a casual and extremely comfy outfit. One that I wore to the park to catch up with some friends and run some errands. I know it's Spring where you should be seeing a lot more bright colours included in outfit posts etc etc but for now it's blacks and greys. This over sized jacket was a bargain from misguided for only £9. I just roll the sleeves slightly which I love the look of.

This long River Island dress has a cool 'Couture' slogan and can be paired with so many different colours and worn differently. Tucked into skirts, trousers worn with belts, all sorts. As it was a chilly day I wore patterned tights and my latest Nike SB kicks.

I have wanted a pair of Nikes for a while now but wanted something unique so opted for these Stefan Janoski Skate boarding shoes which I bought in the Carnaby Street Store. They are the comfiest things ever and were a life saver when I went to Paris earlier on in the year. I'm not a skateboarder but the way these are designed... I just love them and only found in selected stores too. You can see the pictures on my instagram @mintyessence and see how I wore the pair.

This week has been full of work but well rested after a week off. Also getting a new car was a highlight to start my March on a good note so I'm still buzzing from that. Inspirational quotes have got me hooked on instagram, even if I am becoming more anti-social. I came across one that said some people have more than 50 quotes screenshot/ saved on their phones.... that is SO me.
