OOTD | Zara Cape

Cape: Zara
Vest: Primark
Skirt: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: Tesco
Bag: Zara

Get a cape wear a cape fly... was all I could think of when I wore this cape. If you have never heard of it, google the song! War of the World's is a tune.

This cape is light weight, cream and super trendy. Not extremely warm but nothing a thick scarf or fur stole can't compliment. I do have a faux fur burgundy fur collar which I could not find for this look.. boo!
The faux leather white skirt from the Kardashian Kollection is such a beauty especially in person. Their collection is not bad at all, so I was happy to nab this in the sale for £10.

My Christmas shopping is nearly done so I'm proud of myself for keeping on top of things. However, guys are so hard to shop for! So I'm still working on their presents...

How is your Christmas Shopping coming along?

Country Attire's VIP Bloggers Day

I was recently lucky to be invited into the Country Attire HQ behind the scenes to see how everything works there which was amazing!

For those of you who don't know, Country Attire is an luxury online website. They were first established in 2006 with their primary focus 'country clothing', however following their re-branding in April 2013, this changed to more of a lifestyle focus. You will see from the pictures below.
Having a talk with the owner of the company Jenny Parker, I have learnt that they stock more than 60 fashion brands such as Barbour, Vivienne Westwood, Lola Cruz, Hunter, Sebago, Hugo Boss and so much more as well as their own brand CO/AT. They cater for women, men and children plus, they have free shipping to all countries!!

We were all given some scrumptious cake made by Jenny's mum herself, Jane Hargreaves...delicious! Along with some other blogging chums and representatives from Truth PR and Sebago, we were shown around CA's new location since August 2013. We saw their office location with the customer services section, eCommerce, merchandisers and product warehouse. The in-house photography studio was my favourite as it was great to see the perfect set up that goes behind the superb finished images on their website.

As well as spotting some beautiful pieces throughout the day, I was really impressed by the quality of their own brand items like the knee high boots! As you will see below, my wishlist for CA is not small :)

Review: Nuxe Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm

NUXE Ultra-Nourishing Balm- 7E90

The weather at this time of the year in the UK can really affect our skin conditions and cause our lips to crack. However, I have not had to really suffer this A/W thanks to this nourishing balm which I bought in Paris a few months back.

NUXE is a french brand specialising in skincare and bodycare which was hyped up so much and I see why. The product contains Honey, Plant Oils, Shea Butter and Grapefruit Essence all of which help to nourish, repair, sooth, protect. Although it contains oils, it does not transfer oily and wet on the lips but more of a thick rich texture. Of course when warmed to body temperature on the lips it feels soothing.

What I love the most is the scent which is zesty and tangy but sweet all at the same time... mmm
I would highly recommend this being a staple in your handbag as it is in mine!

Have you tried NUXE products before?

Pizza Express | Leeds Express Lunch Menu

I love Pizza Express!
When I was asked to experience an exclusive lunchtime trial running from the 5th-29th November, I thought... what an excellent birthday treat! My birthday is this tomorrow you see....
I hit the big 21! arhhh

Anyway, onto the food. There are a few new additions to the normal lunch menu which look exciting and as I experienced yesterday with my guest, taste really good!

The aim is to create smaller lunch-friendly Pizza Express favourites as well as soups and salads. There is bound to be options for everyone.
The menu is very affordable and ranges from £1.95 -£5.95.

What we had:
Romanita- Pollo ad Astra
Perfect lunch-sized pizza with its signature thin base, so nothing too heavy for a lunch date with your colleagues. The thin crispier bases allow the flavour of the chicken, onions and tomato to be succulent. I loved this!
On the menu are the most popular flavour combinations such as Margherita, American, American Hot, Fioentina, Veneziana, La Reine and Padana. (From £4.95-£5.95)

Pasta- Lasagna Classica £4.95
I love my lasagnas and this classic bolognase sauce and mushrooms did not disappoint. I found the side salad was very generous because some places they give you the tiniest bit of lettuce. The portion of the lasagna is half the size of the classic Al Forno dish served in the evenings but very decent indeed.

Salad- Pollo Verdure £5.45
If you fancy a warm chicken salad this is perfect, however if you are a vegetarian there is a Lasgna Verde option. The char-grilled vegetables in a honey and mustard dressing is so juicy! It sits on top of a bed of rocket and spinach and the dish is accompanied by four mini dough sticks.

 Sides- Dough Balls £1.75
You cannot go to Pizza Express without getting some of the famous baked dough balls with garlic butter right?! For the lunch time menu, you get four instead of eight which is pretty good. As much as I wanted more, you don't want to ruin your appetite for your main.

 Sides-Polenta Chips £2.35

I did not know what to expect with this side dish, all I knew is that it would come in some form of chips... I was not too far off. The rectangular chucks are made from Italian polenta with rosmery, twice baked topped with Gran Moravia cheese. The side dip was a honey mustard dressing which I usually have with salad and did not particularly think it went well with the chips. Nonetheless a unique and different starter which I am glad I tried.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, I want to go again again again!

I recommend you go to a Leeds PE and check the menu out for yourself  as it only running for this month. Fill out a feedback form when you do go and hopefully this will be a permanent thing!

Which dish will you go for?

OOTD | Boyfriend Blazer

Jacket: Primark
Top: Primark
Leggings: Zara
Bag: Internacional
Hat: Primark
Shoes: Barratts

I have recently been loving the over-sized jacket look, whether it was a light dusky pink or tweed material, but my hunt for one ended last week. Whilst on my outings in Manchester, I set my eyes upon this £5 bargain jacket. Such a brilliant price!
I wore my new favourite leggings from Zara which I fell in love instantaneously when trying them on at the Manchester relaunch last Thursday. I bought two pairs one in black and one in navy which is the one featured above. I even convinced a friend and my mum to purchase these as they truly are the bees knees! Gold detailed zips and an elasticated waistband... perfecto!
The classy monochrome clutch has been my fave this month and it fits so much.

Have you spotted any great bargains?

Zara Re-opens in Manchester City Centre

Last Thursday, I was extremely honored to be invited to the Zara re-launch of the Manchester city store . With their poster-sized invite, I knew it was going to be a special event. After 4 months of renovation and much anticipation by many, the store is finally open again... yay!

At the morning press presentation, I was shown the new seasonal pieces in store along with the campaign videos for Woman, TRF, Man and Children's wear. There were some pieces exclusive to that store such as the gold, blocked heeled boots and some limited edition garments.
It was a lovely chance to chat to staff and really understand the transformation of the shop from its previous state.

Here are the hottest trends for A/W13:
Tom Boy | Lingerie | Ladylike

British Plaid

Punk Rock | 90's Tailoring | Bohemian

For the evening party, we were greeted by models wearing Zara pieces which looked amazing and everyone on the door was given a delicate pink wrist band. Whilst browsing the four floors of the new Zara, drinks were flowing and canapes were served. Being the first people to preview the store, the shopping experience was hassle free as everything was perfectly presented and tidy. It was great meeting up with some people I hadn't seen for a while too!

The New Cathedral Street Zara is now open, so do pop in and treat yourself to some winter key pieces!
