Today I have for you the Kiss Haute Couture Lashes review. I have always liked the idea of wearing false lashes as they really make you look girly and cute especially when your lashes are so so short like mine. This said, I like the lashes to look more natural than extravagant, but also kind of noticeable. Hard to explain but I think you know what I mean.
When I was offered the chance to review this pair, I had high hopes as I use the Kiss full cover nails extensions already. I picked the ‘Wink‘ lashes but there are a few to pick from.
The great think that I noticed firstly, was that it comes with a little pick lash applicator which is very much needed with my twitchy hands. Who knew a bit of plastic would help with a smooth application of false lashes. There are step by step instructions that you can follow if you need it. The initial feel of them felt quite durable and strong compared to £1 ones I have tried from Primark etc haha
Instructions:
1) If needed, trim lash size to fit your eyes.
2) Apply Kiss adhesive to lash band: wait 30 seconds for adhesive to become slightly clear and tacky.
3) Using the applicator, apply lashes along natural lash line. Hold, allowing adhesive to dry completely.
Once applied I found that the lashes were super long and curly, a little more than the natural look my comfort zone prefers, but for a special occasion, evening meal or tutorials, it is just right! It really does add a cheeky twist to natural lashes. There is no need for mascara over the top as they are already full of volume.
The longevity of the lashes are very impressive as they stayed on firmly until I was ready to remove them. When I did remove them, they looked the same quality ready for being re-used again and again. Perfect!
The price of these are excellent and don’t break the bank. If you are looking for quality, you can find these in your local stores:
Asda: £4.49*
Boots: £4.49
You can even buy the Duo pack: £7.49
or Multi pack for £16.99
I want to try different styles, shapes and lengths of false lashes and can’t wait for IMATS London in Summer as I have a list of things I want to try from different brands! If you are going, let me know 🙂
Thanks for reading
