The gold edit includes some of my current favourites so keep reading if you want to find out what they are!
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre Gold Edition is my new holy grail product when it comes to skincare. I find it highly moisturising as a base under my makeup and I just feel my skin loves it! It does not leave my face oily even though I am prone to oil around my t-zones As there is no scent, it is great for sensitive skin. You can buy this in it’s normal white packaging but I bought this limited edition at IMATS this year. It contains vital vitamins that are quickly absorbed and many people in the MUA profession use this as a base.
This Eiffel Tower Iphone 6 Plus case looks beautiful against my gold apple logo! You must agree huh? It was one of those impulse buys when I visited Paris in August. One of the stalls were selling this near the famous monument over priced of course for what it was… but I had a ‘I’ll still buy it’ moment. A great souvenir that I’m still using and hopefully continue to use if it lasts a long time. Oh and it was £15 after bringing the price down significantly 🙂 Similar can be found here.
Next up is this gorgeous Joan Collins Lipstick! Today I am off to see the iconic lady herself launch some of her A/W collection. Look out for an up coming post about that. Known for bold red lipstick acting and writing she also had a beauty range! This vibrant pink lipstick comes in such a classy packaging like many of her other products. Very sturdy and expensive looking all for the price of £18*. This is in the shade ‘Fontaine’. If you check out her website there are compacts to choose from and different shades. She also sells fragrances, nail polishes, skincare and accessories. I am very keen to try the lipstick in ‘Sadie’.
I would say the luxurious appearance of the lipstick is very timeless indeed. The lasting power is good. If you like a moisturising satin, pigmented hot pink colour you will like this indeed.
Mini gold rings are just for the added ‘instagram’ imagery but also a good touch to a plain look. I find they are like bobby pins though… you have a lot to start off with but then they just disappear one by one. These were from primark a while back.
